Donation presented to an excited mayor of Ciechocin
- Local commitment, health and the well-being of our neighbours and the general community around us are all vitally important to BSB Poland. We care about how things are going in our community, and we stand ready to take on our share of responsibility, says Przemysław Majewski, General Manager of BSB Poland, the Polish branch of the international steel company, that specializes in machining, cutting and welding in steel.
Together with Sales Project Manager, Katarzyna Ułanowska, Przemysław Majewski handed over the donation to a visibly excited Mayor of Ciechocin Municipality, Mr. Andrzej Okruciński.
The 60 new disinfection racks have already found their way to their new homes, where they will help local schools, rural community centers, the municipal office and the volunteer fire brigade in Ciechocin to keep and maintain good hand hygiene.
- We have listened to the citizens of the local community in Ciechocin. They have asked for hand disinfection equipment, not the least in institutions and schools. At BSB Poland, we are pleased and proud that we, with this donation, can be of help in creating a safer everyday life for the children and their parents of our town.
- BSB Poland decided to take this step bearing in mind the fact that powerful local communities are the key aspect to a sustainable future for all of us. Hopefully this disinfection effort can help reduce infection, and here I am not only thinking of covid-19 but also of common colds, flu and other diseases, emphasizes a pleased Przemysław Majewski.
