Since the opening of the first of two factories in Poland in 2009 BSB Industry has had a sharp focus on developing the performance of management and employees, as well as investing large sums in machinery and equipment. These are, according to BSB Industry-CEO Teddy Norsgaard Jørgensen, the most important reasons why BSB Poland is now in a position of receiving a Gazelle for the fourth time and for the second consecutive year is being awarded the Super Gazelle.
"The Gazelle is a tribute to companies that have had positive growth numbers every year over four financial years and have, overall, doubled their turnover. We are of course proud of the fact that again in 2018 we have produced such fine financial gains in BSB Poland that for the fourth time we are worthy of receiving a Gazelle. The fact that we are also the company in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region with the greatest growth makes us no less happy," says Teddy Norsgaard Jørgensen, who points to the performance of the employees and the competent management team as the main reasons for this successful development.
"Skilled employees and strong management are crucial for a production company like ours. We focus on QHSE - quality, health, safety and environment - and through our optimization and development program "Continuous Business Improvement", popularly known as CBI, we are constantly striving to develop the company and strengthen the employees' competencies so that we can maintain and improve our high quality solutions for cutting, machining and welding steel, stainless steel and aluminum," explains Teddy Norsgaard Jørgensen.
Whether BSB Poland will go on and succeed in winning three Super Gazelles in a row, Teddy Norsgaard Jørgensen dares not say. But he does not shy away from promising that BSB Industry’s Polish division will do their utmost to ensure continued progress.
"BSB Poland is in great shape and enjoys upward economic developments. Order books are filled and customer relations strong. With a total of just over 20,000 square meters under roof, good lifting heights and state of the art machinery, we have the capacity and flexibility to deliver individual products as well as complete total solutions with short delivery times and high delivery reliability. In BSB Industry, we believe that this will also ensure us one of the sought-after growth gazelles in 2019," says a happy Teddy Norsgaard Jørgensen.
