Employees race at Vandel Gokart

The challenging track of Vandel Gokart with its playful turns and fast long sides gave the employees of BSB Industry a sweat on their foreheads as they stepped on the gas last weekend on the very last summer day of the year.

Organizing the event at Vandel Gokart track was BSB Industry's new staff association, which counts Pawel Prochera, Bogustaw Dabrowski, Andrzej Prochera, Karen Iversen and Rikke Van Rensburg as its founding members.

"It's been a perfect day with a really good race. We had fun together and got to talk about something else than work. We came to know each other better and I think it will help create an even stronger community and strengthen our collaboration across work functions," says member of the staff association board Pawel Prochera, who himself landed a rather impressive 3rd place in the race.

He was overtaken though by Bjarne Elneff, who came in 2nd and by Henning Hansen who in masterly fashion succeeded in claiming the winning position of 1st place.

"I was confident, I would win," said a grinning Henning Hansen after the race. "I have a history of racing gokart, so I might have had a small advantage. But victory is not important. The important thing is that we had a fantastic day together, contributing to making a good workplace even better," says Henning Hansen, before being celebrated at the victory podium, where he was joined by Bjarne Elneff and Pawel Prochera.

Feel the atmosphere at Vandel Gokart.

The staff association board is pleased that the event was a great success, not the least thanks to solid support from colleagues.

"In the short life span of the staff association we have already been out bowling, seen ice hockey in Vojens and gone fishing. Today we added go-kart racing to the list. We are obviously pleased that the event at Vandel Gokart was successful. These kinds of social events provide a great tool for strengthening the community and the joy of working in BSB Industry. Now we look forward to the next events where we will, among other things, be going bowling and having Christmas lunch, "says Rikke Van Rensburg before handing out the prizes to the happy winners.
