Piotr will optimize production processes in BSB Poland

The new production manager at BSB Poland's factory in Torún, Piotr Grubecki, is pleased to be part of the management team in a company that is ambitious and constantly looking for improvements, new customers and a setup that helps to ensure high efficiency, delivery reliability and competitiveness for customers.

47-year-old Piotr Grubecki has recently joined BSB Poland as production manager, and the experienced engineer has no regrets.

- I am pleased with what I see with regards to the departments and the processes at BSB Poland. It is a very professional company where things are running smoothly, says Piotr Grubecki.

The goal is to release a huge potential

Piotr joined BSB Poland by the end of last year. Before that, he worked as a production manager at a Polish company that produces cooling systems for, among others, Danish customers. Piotr Grubecki is impressed by BSB, but there is also potential for improvements, he believes.

- We must continue to develop and find ways that we have not tried before to solve tasks. Quality and delivery at the agreed time are of course the business basics. But improving and optimizing communications and information exchange between the various departments and employees are also important issues which we need to focus more on, says Piotr Grubecki.

He and his staff are currently busy implementing a new system at the factory in Torún, which provides a better overview of the production processes at the various workstations in the company. The aim is to improve the already high efficiency rate and minimize unnecessary delays.

A skilled and helpful manager

Piotr Grubecki has settled in well at BSB Poland, where the employees describe him as friendly, helpful, skilled, humorous and with fine management skills.

- I enjoy talking to my employees and making sure that they get to solve the problems at hand and at the same time are comfortable in their jobs. To me, it is important as manager, that we discuss the challenges we face in production and that we, manager and employees together, find appropriate solutions with regard to both technical and personal issues that may pop up, explains Piotr Grubecki.

On the private side, like many of the 160 employees of BSB Poland, the production manager lives close by the factory in Toruń. With his wife, his two teenage daughters and his two dogs, Piotr Grubecki resides in the small town of Głogowo.

- Free time is spent with my family or friends. Besides I have played the drums and my guitar for 30 years and counting. However, this is not something I plan to perform at the factory in Toruń, says Piotr Grubecki with a smile.

Quality, delivery reliability and good communication

- It is a great feeling to be part of the BSB team. I enjoy welcoming new customers and be of help in making us more visible on the market. We must be flexible and always be ready to meet and handle the unexpected. Fortunately, we are in a situation where things are going well in terms of incoming orders, which includes solutions for business partners in most European countries, so I am optimistic about the future, says Piotr Grubecki.

The biggest challenge he sees is the rising costs of energy consumption, but in these matters BSB Poland has been well prepared.

- We have got a new system in place which can monitor and optimize our energy consumption, so we are well equipped to meet the challenge without it affecting delivery times, prices and quality, says Piotr Grubecki.
